Today at Traine Farm
Trace your family history Our family has farmed here since 1939. We have researched the history of the farm and its occupants over the centuries. Robert is a keen local historian and has many years experience of the local area and researching at the Record Office. He would be pleased to help you with your genealogy. A real working farm We have a small herd of South Devon Cattle and also grow cereals. When time permits, we like to show guests around and explain how the farm works. In addition to the herd, there’s the opportunity to collect fresh eggs – this makes your self catering breakfast quite special. There is also a farm trail from where you might capture a glimpse of badgers in their natural habitat. There’s something for everyone at Traine Farm and these experiences make your Devon holiday very special. It’s a real farm which we hope you will enjoy. Many of our guests return year after year and are always interested in the way that our food is produced from source. The nearby farm shops provides a range of local produce for your enjoyment.
Traine Farm cottages offer our visitors a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Why wait, plan your break now!
